Sudbury Fun Run 2025
A sextet from the Saxons smashed it at Sudbury over the Easter weekend in the Sudbury 5-mile Fun Run (we’re assuming this is an ironic label as the hills didn’t make it much fun).
Pride of place goes to James, who finished fourth overall, just 44 seconds behind the winner and only two seconds off being third.
He did get a trophy, though, for third-place in the County Championships, which formed part of the race. It was at the cost of a pair of shoes – he was running so hard he managed to wear them out.
Neill also did incredibly well in what was a very competitive race, finishing 21st, and Chris F wasn’t far behind.
They were supported by Sarah, Karen and Gary L, all of whom also did well on a testing course.
